11 of 50 cigarette cards from the John Player & Sons series "Footballers, 1928"; in good condition, though Windsor Lewis appears to have a slight crease; cards are 5, 9, 12, 16, 22, 23, 24, 28, 35, 40 and 43; two of the players are from the game of rugby league, the others rugby union; frame has a couple of marks (a bit like the Calcutta Cup!)
