Four cartoons, showing ladies' sporting fashions from the 1860s to the 1890s - sports portrayed are croquet, roller-skating (!), tennis and golf .....; "Swain SC" suggests the work of Joseph Swain the prolific engraver - or one of his assistants; full page cartoon from the July 18 1891. Would look excellent framed ..... The Racketeer knows as he already has a number of these in the study!
